Let’s talk gear shop. \u00a0In 4.2 we’re going to have several new ways of\u00a0acquiring gear, above and beyond the natural collection of all Tier 11 gear through Justice Points.<\/p>\n

First off: \u00a0Complete Hyjal Quests.<\/strong><\/span> This is mandatory in order to continue on with the 4.2 conversion. \u00a0Make sure you’ve done all the quests here so you’re not caught off-guard.<\/p>\n

The next part consists of dailies combined with quest choices. \u00a0It breaks down into this:<\/p>\n

  1. Complete Stage 1 by doing all six<\/span> quests and gathering 20 MotWT (Marks of the World Tree) to complete Calling for Reinforcements<\/span>. \u00a0There are three daily quests at this stage, granting 4 MotWT per day. \u00a0You will need a minimum of three days to complete this stage.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Complete Stage 2 by doing all three<\/span> quests and gathering 150 MotWT to unlock additional dailies from either The Shadow Wardens<\/span> or Druids of the Talon<\/span>. \u00a0Which one you choose is up to you, in the end to advance to the vendors you will need to complete both. \u00a0 There are seven daily quests at this stage (including previous stage), granting 14 MoTWT per day. \u00a0You will need a minimum of ten days to complete this stage.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Use The Shadow Wardens<\/span> or Druids of the Talon<\/span> to gather 150 MotWT in order to unlock the other half of quests. \u00a0This will take less time as either one will open up several additional quests resulting 22 MotWT per day. \u00a0Additional MotWT can be gathered from Anren and Tholo and\/or the Fire Lasher dailies. \u00a0You will need a minimum of seven days to complete this section.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. At this point you have will have completed both the Druids and Wardens sections and now have the choice of opening up a vendor of your choice. \u00a0These quests (Calling the Ancients<\/span>, Additional Armaments<\/span> and Filling the Moonwell<\/span>) each require 125 MotWT. \u00a0With the previous sections you can earn 30+ MotWT per day. \u00a0You will need a minimum of 5 days to earn a vendor.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Enjoy the vendor loot you have unlocked!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Gear Through Crafting<\/h2>\n

    Let’s talk weapons. \u00a0In 4.2, there will be a weapon available for every<\/em> class. \u00a0This means if you don’t have a weapon then you’ll have one going into 4.2. \u00a0Likely these patterns will be sold by the new vendors in 4.2. \u00a0Let’s see how these will affect our raid, noting that everyone should be upgrading because the costs involved in doing so can be gathered prior to the patch actually going out. \u00a0Hunters please notice you have two weapons you’ll want rather than only one. \u00a0Everyone should start gathering for these items.<\/p>\n

    Setta:\u00a0Unbreakable Guardian<\/a><\/p>\n

    Donavaan:\u00a0Masterwork Elementium Deathblade<\/a><\/p>\n

    Healers<\/h3>\n

    Ravik:\u00a0Masterwork Elementium Deathblade<\/a><\/p>\n

    Gear Through Vendors (WowHead Link<\/a>)<\/h2>\n

    With those out of the way, we can talk about gear obtained through the dailies by unlock the vendors and purchasing them. \u00a0Each vendor first requires the player to go through a quest chain that will ultimately lead to spending 125 Marks of the World Tree on a specific vendor. \u00a0All vendors can be unlocked, but which comes first is the question.<\/p>\n

    Blacksmiths and Engineers:<\/strong><\/span> You will want to unlock\u00a0Damek Bloombeard<\/strong> (Quest: Additional Armaments<\/span>)\u00a0in order to get all the plans \/ schematics so our guild can get the weapons we need.<\/p>\n

    Tanks (Setta & Donavaan):<\/span><\/strong> You will want to first unlock Varlan Highbough<\/strong> (Quest: Calling the Ancients<\/span>) as this will unlock two tank rings and a tanking relic.<\/p>\n

    Caster DPS <\/span><\/strong>(Raveion):<\/span> <\/strong>You will want to first unlock\u00a0Damek Bloombeard<\/strong> (Quest: Additional Armaments<\/span>) as it will provide two pieces. \u00a0Each other vendor will give one piece.<\/p>\n

    Caster Healer (Keary, Brewna and Sekikaze):<\/span> <\/strong>Keary and Brewna have the choice between\u00a0Damek Bloombeard<\/strong> (Quest: Additional Armaments<\/span>) and Ayla Shadowstorm<\/strong> (Quest: Filling the Moonwell<\/span>) as both award two pieces. \u00a0Sekikaze will want\u00a0Damek Bloombeard<\/strong> (Quest: Additional Armaments<\/span>) as he will provide three pieces (along with the patterns).<\/p>\n

    Ranged DPS (Jaqulyn and Ainimas):<\/strong><\/span> Any of the three will work as they all provide one piece of gear.<\/p>\n

    Melee DPS (Santile and Ravik):<\/strong><\/span> Santile can choose any of the three as they all provide one piece. \u00a0Ravik will want either\u00a0Damek Bloombeard<\/strong> (Quest: Additional Armaments<\/span>) or\u00a0Varlan Highbough<\/strong> (Quest: Calling the Ancients<\/span>) as they both provide two pieces.<\/p>\n

    Gear Through Valor Points (MMO-Champion Link<\/a>)<\/h2>\n

    In this sense, everyone needs the same amount of VP to complete their goals: \u00a010,500 VP. \u00a0This will take a minimum 11 weeks to obtain all this gear with the current weekly cap.<\/p>\n
